Country music superstar Carrie Underwood stopped by TODAY and talked about becoming a mother and a new song that will lift your spirits.

The Oklahoma native talked about how she’s still trying to get used to her soon-to-be new title of ‘mom’.

“Sometimes I’ll be with my husband and I’m like, ‘I’m going to be a mom. You’re going to be a dad. Like, is this real life?’ But we’re really excited,” said Carrie Underwood.

She also looks to her Oklahoma family roots for guidance.

“I have a wonderful mother, so if I can be even a little bit like that, I think we’ll be good,” she said.
