One cat burglar with a taste for men’s underwear is menacing the streets of Hamilton, New Zealand.

Like most cats, Brigit is a hunter – but her prey is exclusively socks and underwear.

The feline has brought home  more than 50 socks and 11 pairs of underwear in the last two months, according to the New Zealand Herald.

Brigit’s owner Sarah Nathan said those numbers are just the socks and underwear she has kept.

“It’s all men’s. It’s really, really weird. She’s got really specific taste,” she said.

Nathan guesses they all belong to the same unlucky neighbor. She said the cat has been collecting menswear for around two of the six months they’ve lived at their current residence.

Nathan said at their last residence, the cat stole everything from a hockey shin pad to women’s underwear.

“She was much less discerning – now she’s decided menswear is the thing – and it’s a very specific kind of underpants that she likes,” Nathan said.

Nathan wants to find the owner of the socks and underwear so the menswear can be returned.  She’s circulated flyers on her street and posted on Facebook.

“I’ve got this massive bag. You think someone would’ve noticed,” Nathan said.
