CHICAGO (WGN-TV) – A man who is known for wearing a bear costume at Wrigleyville on game days was caught on camera getting into a bar fight.

The clip, which was posted to YouTube, shows a bar patron yanking the head off the “Billy Cub” bear costume.

The unofficial mascot then retaliates by punching the man and grabbing his costume back.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Patrick Weier says he had reached his breaking point after drunk bar patrons provoked him.

He says customers shoved him, pushed him down and tried to take a cooler that was carrying his tips.

Weier wears the costume to pose with tourists and Cubs fans for tips.

No arrests were made and no charges have been filed.
