CINCINNATI, Ohio (WLWT) — An Ohio mother is facing an assault charge after police said she slapped a child on a school bus.

Police say N’Doumbe Gueye, 30, boarded the bus bound for Roll Hill Academy, asked her son to point out the boy who hit him, then slapped the boy in a confrontation.

The incident was captured on video.

In the video, the woman can be seen aggressively slapping what looks like a small child – though it is hard to tell because of the bus seat – and reprimanding the victim.

According to court documents, Gueye told police that her 6-year-old son had been hit on several occasions by a 5-year-old boy who rode the same First Student school bus.

According to WLWT, when the bus driver told dispatchers how the mother got on the bus in the first place, the response was, “It happened so fast. By the time I was stopping her… he’s sitting, like, in the second seat from the front. She got on the bus.”

“Her son got off, told her to look what hit her. She got on the bus and slapped quarters out of the little boy.”
