OKLAHOMA CITY—A group of local chefs are taking on the impossible task of combatting hunger.

“Culinaire for a Cure” prepared a 100 course meal and enlisted the help of many local chefs to help pull off this mouthwatering feast.

The event started at 10:30 a.m. Saturday and lasted until 1:30 a.m. Sunday at the Tasting Room in Will Rogers Theater.

Chef Kurt Fleischfresser said, “I go home and sleep on it and go ‘Wait a second, that’s a plate every 30 seconds if we do 20 people.’ We actually have two tables of 20 while we are serving the last course on the tabletop here, we are serving the first course here.”

Those who participated in the challenge say it is all about one thing, ending hunger in Oklahoma.

All money raised benefits the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
