OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City firefighters responded to a house fire in the 4200 block of N. Nicklas Avenue on Sunday.

Firefighters arrived to the house at 12:10 p.m. and reported light smoke coming from the single story home.

The fire was out by 12:17 p.m., but the home suffered enough smoke damage to displace the family. The American Red Cross will assist the family with a place to stay.

Fire investigators came to the conclusion that a child playing with a lighter caused the fire.

There were no injuries.
