OKLAHOMA CITY – This October, children in Oklahoma are helping raise awareness of domestic violence through art.

The 9th annual poster project, sponsored by Attorney General Scott Pruitt, the Oklahoma Sheriffs Association and the Oklahoma Association of Chiefs of Police, coincides with the observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October.

“Domestic violence affects thousands of families across the state each year,” Pruitt said. “The children’s artwork is heart-wrenching, hopeful and truly an eye-opener.”

The children’s posters will be displayed at the Attorney General’s Office, 313 NE 21, Oklahoma City, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. throughout the month of October.
