MOORE, Okla. – A frightening call for help came in within moments of the violent attack.

Employees of Vaughan Foods locked themselves in offices and closets as Alton Nolen allegedly embarked on a deadly afternoon rampage.

Investigators say the freshly fired employee had beheaded one female co-worker and was in the middle of attacking another when he was taken down with at least three gunshots.

Employees anxiously waited for an “all clear” from police.
