OKLAHOMA – Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight.
Temperatures will rise only into the mid to upper 30s, but the wind will be much lighter than yesterday out of the northeast at around 10mph.
Still, wind chills will be in the teens and 20s, so bundle up!
Later tonight, the storm system we’ve been talking about will arrive and bring some light snow first to the panhandles before spreading it eastward to I-35 later in the morning.
Snow totals will be VERY light in OKC and the rest of the metro with anywhere from a dusting to a quarter-inch of snow on the ground by the afternoon.
Higher snow totals of half an inch to an inch are possible around Clinton, Alva, Woodward, and Guymon.
Otherwise, we’ll bottom out in the low to mid 20s by sunrise and rise into the mid to upper 30s tomorrow afternoon.
We turn the corner with temperatures on Thursday and highs will climb to near 60 degrees by this weekend!
