KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A three-story church partially collapsed in Missouri in the middle of Vacation Bible School.

Officials say 44 children and 20 staff members were inside when a back wall collapsed from the roof to the basement.

Parents rushed to check on their children as they heard the news.

The kids were on their second day of Vacation Bible School.

Fortunately, everyone made it out unharmed.

As a precaution, some police officers were taken to the hospital to be checked for asbestos exposure.

The building was originally built as a theater in 1931.

Inspectors still don’t know what exactly caused the building to come down.
