DUBUQUE, Iowa (KWWL) — The City of Dubuque, Iowa is looking at a $2,500 bill for cleanup services after three young boys urinated over the rails in the 5th St. parking ramp Saturday afternoon.

Tim Horsfield, parking systems supervisor for Dubuque, said they have clear surveillance footage of the three boys spending “quite some time” in the ramp, and urinating over the rails on the seventh floor of the tower.

“We’ll need to sanitize, bleach and clean that tower,” Horsfield said.

The cold weather will force them to heat the tower as well, which drives up the cost of the clean-up.

According to police, the cost of the clean up effort makes the crime a felony-level charge. That’s not even including public urination charges.
