NORMAN, Okla. – Two Oklahoma courthouses have been evacuated following a series of threats.
Shortly after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, authorities evacuated the Cleveland County Courthouse.
Meghan McCormick, with the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, says the Cleveland County Court Clerk’s office received a call about a possible threat.
McCormick says authorities evacuated the building and searched the rooms of the courthouse.
While the investigation continues into the threat, people are being allowed back inside the building.
Around 9:20 a.m., the Grady County Courthouse was also evacuated following a threat.
The Chickasha Police Department says it received a call about a bomb threat.
