BLANCHARD, Okla.-The community is coming together to support a 3-month-old boy in his journey towards a normal life.

Brantley Jacobs was born with a rare medical condition that has affected his leg and since his birth his parents have been desperately searching for help.

Doctors initially wanted to amputate his leg but his parents believed there had to be another way.

They found a doctor in Boston who may be able to help.

However, they need the funds to make that trip a reality.

Christina Hendricks said, “If we were in her shoes, we would hope and pray that somebody would do the same thing for us and we were in the position where we could so we thought we would help her out a little.”

A fundraiser was held last week to raise money to help little Brantley.

The family is hoping to make the trip to Boston in a couple of weeks.
