SNYDER, Okla. – A country music singer from Oklahoma is mourning the loss of his father following a car accident Wednesday night.

According to KSWO, police in Snyder were called to an accident near Hwy 183 and County Rd. 1620.

Investigators learned the victim, 63-year-old William “Bud” White, had just left the Waterhole Convenience Store when he stepped into the road and was hit by a car.

Sadly, White died from his injuries.

KSWO learned the victim is the father of country music singer and Oklahoma native Bryan White.
