Another country music star announced that he is ending his marriage after three years.

On Friday, Jake Owen told his fans that he and his wife, Lacey, have decided to get a divorce.

“I wanted to let my fans know how much I’ve appreciated their support of not only my career but my family as a whole. Sadly, Lacey and I have decided to end our marriage. We want to focus on our daughter Pearl and make sure that she has a beautiful life with loving parents. We appreciate you respecting our privacy during this time,” Owens said in a statement.

Owen met Lacey on the set of his music video for “8 Second Ride.” They began dating when she starred in his video for “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”

It has been a tough summer for celebrity romances.

Owen’s announcement comes just three weeks after Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert divorced, and just four days after Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock announced their separation.
