CHARLESTON, S.C. – A family court in South Carolina has now set a hearing for Wednesday to determine how to transfer custody of baby Veronica back to her adoptive parents.

This is following a ruling from the South Carolina Supreme Court earlier in July.

Veronica’s biological father, Oklahoma resident Dusten Brown, said the fight is not over.

He has already asked the Supreme Court to stop the custody transfer and grant home a re-hearing to decide what is in the toddler’s best interest.

The re-hearing request was denied.

Brown may now ask an Oklahoma court to declare the South Carolina court order invalid.
