OKLAHOMA CITY-- Court records reveal new details in a horrific stabbing death of a baby boy earlier this week.

The child’s own mother is accused of the crime.

An affidavit shows some of the initial police interview with the boyfriend at the hospital.

He told officers he and Raven Veloz were separated, but she’d asked him to come over to help her because she was being evicted from her apartment, and he said he woke up to her stabbing him with a knife.

The 8-month-old baby boy was already unresponsive when police got there.

Court records show the first officers on the scene said "Raven Veloz was holding a knife in her hand, and had another knife lying on the floor next to her."

Fire crews had to pry open the front door.

Inside, Veloz, daughter Sophia, and son Ezekiel all had multiple stab wounds to their chests.

Ezekiel died at the apartment.

A family member told Newschannel 4 Thursday Ezekiel was stabbed more than a dozen times.

Neighbors say the young family was pretty quiet.

They had no idea Veloz was being evicted.

“Just to think that a human being’s capable of doing that to another human being, it’s terribly sad, it’s heartbreaking,” neighbor, Robert Thompson said.

A search warrant obtained by Newschannel 4 shows evidence police seized from inside the apartment, including one black, serrated knife, a blood-stained tan baby blanket, a bloodied baby carrier, bib, and a pacifier.

Raven Veloz and Sergio Garcia lost a daughter in January, they say, from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

But in an autopsy report, that wasn’t the case.

The ME ruled the little girl died from complications from a virus.

Veloz faces numerous charges, including first degree murder.
