Lots of folks late to work after crash on I-235 tied up traffic all morning

OKLAHOMA CITY - A crash in the northbound lanes of I-235 brought traffic to a standstill Wednesday morning.

Traffic going northbound on I-235 was stopped from about 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. after an SUV hydroplaned into a car near N.E. 50th around 6 a.m.

One of the passengers told NewsChannel 4 everyone is conscious; however the man in the SUV was treated by paramedics.

The same area was closed overnight due to flooding.

Almost immediately after it was re-opened, the crash stopped traffic once again.
