CHICKASHA, Okla. – Authorities closed a heavily traveled highway in Grady County on Friday morning after a deadly car accident.
Around 4:40 a.m. on Friday, emergency crews were called to an accident near Hwy 81 and County Rd. 1290, just north of Chickasha.
Officials say the accident involved a tanker truck and a car that collided.
So far, two people have died from the crash.
Northbound and southbound lanes of Hwy 81 were closed for a few hours.
However, the lanes are back open.
