GUTHRIE, Okla. – Authorities said one man has been found dead following a house fire in Guthrie.
Just before 12 p.m. on Friday, Guthrie firefighters were called to the house in the 600 block of E. Springer.
Flames and heavy smoke could be seen when Air Comfort Solutions Chopper 4 arrived on scene.
It took over an hour for firefighters to gain control of the blaze. Once fire crews were able to make it inside, they made a tragic discovery.
The Guthrie Fire Chief confirmed to News 4 that one man has been found dead from the fire.
According to the Guthrie News Page, one other person was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
