THE VILLAGES, Fla. – Contractors in Florida worked all night to fill in a sinkhole that was threatening two homes in a central Florida community.
According to reports, a sinkhole opened in between two houses when soil loosened from heavy rainfall on Friday.
The sinkhole undermined the corner of one home and the driveway of the house next door.
Crews poured several truckloads of concrete into the hole to seal it.
Officials said engineers and contractors will continue to monitor the site for any changes.
