OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City Police responded to a deadly shooting on the city's northwest side Saturday morning.

Authorities were initially called to the 5700 block of N.W. 16th Street just after 3:00 a.m. at the Summer Oakes Apartments.

At first, officers could not find a victim, so they tried to collect evidence and left.

A little more than an hour later, just after 4 a.m., the police returned, after the victim's mother found her son in an apartment and called 911 to report the shooting.

Officials say the victim is a Hispanic man, who was shot and found dead at the scene.

Police are still working on a suspect description.

If you have any information on the murder, call the Homicide Tip Line at 405-297-1200.
