DPS reduces non-essential services in multiple counties and Oklahoma County closes offices

The Commissioner of Public Safety, as authorized by the Governor, has announced that due to inclement weather, Department of Public Safety may temporarily reduce non-essential services beginning from 8:00AM to 5:00PM on Monday, 12/28/2015, for the following counties: Custer, Beckham, Dewey, Roger Mills, Washita ,Tillman, Jackson, Kiowa, Harmon, Greer, Kingfisher, Blaine, Garfield, Grant, Alfalfa, Woods, Major, Woodward, Harper, Ellis, Caddo, Grady, Comanche, Stephens, Jefferson, and Cotton coun

 

Canadian, Cleveland, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, and Pottawatomie Counties in Troop A will be open at the delayed time of 10:00AM. State employees designated to maintain basic minimum services (staff essential functions) should remain at work or report to work as scheduled. Officials say they will re-evalute at 6:30AM Monday to determine if services will be reduced for the remainder of the day.

 

The Oklahoma County Courthouse and County offices will be closed Monday. Essential personnel only need to report for work.
