EL RENO, Okla. – Deputies in Canadian County say they seized 100 pounds of high-quality marijuana Friday after stopping a semi-truck driver who veered off the interstate.

Authorities stopped a semi along I-40 after it was seen swerving along different portions of the road.

The truck was heading to locations across the country to deliver vehicles to different states.

Deputies became curious of a 1988 Chevy S10 Blazer that was heading to Macon, Georgia.

Inside, officers found 50 packages of ‘Hydro’ marijuana in the vehicle, which is worth about $500,000.

The driver, who had no idea about the hidden drugs, was released.

Sheriff Randall Edwards, with the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office, said, “I can’t tell you how proud I am of the deputies involved in this bust. They’re both outstanding deputies who give it their best each and every day.”
