Developing: Crews respond to chemical spill in Southwest OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY – Emergency crews were called to a chemical spill in Southwest Oklahoma City Tuesday afternoon.

Oklahoma City Hazmat crews are on the scene to contain and clean up the hydrochloric acid that spilled near the Oklahoma City Stockyards.

Initial reports indicate that southwest 15th and May has been shut down until crews can clean up the spill.

Welsh reports that no evacuations have been issued at this time.

Crews were concerned some of the hydrochloric acid may have spilled into the storm
