OKLAHOMA - It's the time of year when we transition into winter time fun.
Friday, Dino Lalli from Discover Oklahoma stopped by to talk with us about some great Oklahoma attractions.
Dino let us know the Devon Ice Rink opens Friday for families to enjoy this winter season.
The ice rink is set up at the Myriad Botanical Gardens.
It costs $12 per person with skates and $8 for those who bring their own skates.
Dino says the proceeds go to a good cause, supporting cost of landscaping the Gardens.
He also let us know about an Oklahoma restaurant that serves a great steak.
Dino says this steak is worth the drive to Woodward.
Dan Parsons, owner of Big Dan's Steakhouse, serves some of the best food around.
Many days you will find Dan in the kitchen, grilling choice, hand cut steaks.
He also says they have some excellent hamburgers.
"Our hamburgers. People say we have the best hamburgers in town. Like I say, we cut our own steaks, so our hamburger`s really the ribeye, strip, fillet. We grind it and patty it down ourselves. So it`s really good meat in the hamburger. And then we grill them back there. Our t-bones are very good. We have the 16-ounce ribeye out front. It`s certified black Angus. I mean it is just unbelievable," he said.
