NEW YORK- Door-to-door delivery by the U.S. Postal Service could be coming to an end.
The postal service says the change would help them save money while reaching more people.
However, officials say it is unclear if door-to-door deliveries will ever completely go away.
A spokesperson says converting delivery to curbside mailboxes or mailbox clusters would allow drivers to provide service to more customers in less time.
More than 30 million American homes get door-to-door delivery.
Another 50 million get their mail delivered to a mailbox.
