More than 20 years after his death, a new book by an iconic author is hitting store shelves.

Random House announced that it plans to publish “What Pet Should I Get” by Dr. Seuss in July.

The author’s widow and secretary discovered the story in 2013 while they were clearing out his office.

Random House believes Dr. Seuss wrote the story in the late 1950s or early 1960s.

Two more Dr. Seuss books featuring newly discovered material will be published at a later date.
