CHOCTAW COUNTY, Okla. — Another drowning victim has been found and identified.

Reports say 34-year-old Lee Williams drowned around 11:45 p.m. Thursday, May 21. His body was recovered at 9:25 a.m. Friday, May 22.

Police say Williams’s vehicle stalled out in high waters, so he got out and walked for help.

When he walked 150 yards back down the flooded road to get his belongings from his car, that’s when police say a dip in the road took Williams under.

He never came back up.

Williams’ body was found at the location he went underwater, according to officials.
