GUTHRIE, Okla. — An early morning raid on a suspected drug house lands 6 people behind bars in Guthrie.

Police say a significant amount of illegal prescription pills, meth, marijuana and synthetic marijuana called K2 were seized from the home on Guthrie’s west side.

During the raid, tactical units broke down the house door and arrested six people, including Bobby Walker, Kelly Sherwan, David Welch, Nickolas Hafele, Natasha Hafele and an unnamed juvenile.

All six suspects are now facing a variety of drug related charges.

“I know there was a couple arrests my mom’s in jail, but that’s all I know,” said one man who answered the door at the home.

That man admitted his family lives in the home, but denied knowing if there was any illegal activity taking place inside.

“I did live here, but I’m just trying to take care of my siblings. I don’t know what happened,” the man said.

In addition to the raid on that home, Guthrie police also raided a second nearby home thought to be involved in the same crime, but they didn’t find any drug activity in the second home.

In addition to the arrests, a number of children were placed into protective custody with Department of Human Services.
