DUNCAN, Okla. - A Duncan man accused of murdering his family was in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.

"I was emotional and in shock," that's what longtime housekeeper Rose Chavez said during her testimony.

Alan Hruby wiped away tears while Chavez, described finding the bodies of John, Tinker, and Katherine Hruby in the kitchen of their home October 13.

She also testified about talking to Katherine a month before the murders saying Katherine heard from a friend that Alan was telling his friends "that he knew how he was going to kill us."

Investigators say Alan Hruby stole his father's gun and shot his mom twice, his sister once, waited for his dad to come home and then shot him.

After the housekeeper testified, a crime scene investigator took the stand.

A good portion of the testimony dealt with this storage unit.

That is where investigators say they found key pieces of evidence.

They found a gun, plastic gloves and electronics. Investigators say the storage unit was being rented by the suspect's grandmother.

Not long before the murders, Hruby's parents cut off his finances after he took out a credit card in his grandmother's name and charged thousands of dollars on it.

Investigators say money was the motive in the murders and that Allan was a shopaholic hoping to cash in on his family's inheritance.

We did not get to talk to anyone on camera because of a gag order prevent outside statements to the media.

Allan Hruby's arraignment is set for August 20th.

He is currently serving three years in prison for opening a credit card account in his grandmother's name and using it to take a European vacation.
