Update: 11:04 a.m. – Officials say the all-clear has been given for Northridge Elementary.

Authorities say Hazmat crews did not find anything at the scene.

Children and staff have returned to class.


OKLAHOMA CITY – A Putnam City elementary school was evacuated Wednesday morning after staff noticed an odor of natural gas, according to fire officials.

Officials say Northridge Elementary was evacuated around 10:45 a.m.

Fire crews say no one is in any danger.

Hazmat crews are on scene.
