EDMOND, Okla. – Emergency crews and firefighters rushed to an explosion in Oklahoma County on Friday morning.
Shortly before 11 a.m., crews were called to an explosion in the 3400 block of E. Waterloo Rd.
Heavy smoke could be seen coming from the area by drivers along I-35.
Officials with the Edmond Fire Department say a barn exploded on Friday morning.
At this time, there’s no word on what exactly caused the explosion.
Firefighters are working to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby structures.
Officials say a boat and several vehicles were inside the barn at the time of the explosion.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the explosion.
