OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities have identified the victim of a deadly crash in Oklahoma City.

The crash was reported around 12:45 p.m. near southbound I-235, just north of 36th St.

Officials say that a Chevy driven by 25-year-old Chelsie Johnson and a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 48-year-old William Hodgins were both heading southbound on I-235 when they neared the construction zone.

Authorities say Hodgins slowed for traffic, but Johnson was not able to slow down and hit Hodgins.

Hodgins was then pushed into another vehicle.

Investigators say Hodgins was pronounced dead at the scene from numerous injuries he sustained in the crash.

At this point, officials say the cause of the collision is still under investigation.

Hodgins was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
