An inmate with a hatred for child molesters went after disgraced Subway Spokesman Jared Fogel, leaving him bloodied and battered.

TMZ is reporting that Fogel ended up with a bloodied nose, scratches on his neck, and a swollen face.

It happened January 29th in the recreation yard at Englewood Prison in Colorado.

60-year-old Steven Nigg suffered only a small scratch on his hand and was placed in solitary confinement after allegedly pushing Fogel to the ground and pummeling his face.

Nigg’s family says the inmate, who is serving time for a gun charge, is fed up with so many child molesters being housed at the low-security prison.

38-year-old Fogle was sentenced to nearly 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges and engaging in sex with minors.

Fogel has agreed to pay $100,000 to each of his 14 victims.

His earliest possible release date is set for July of 2029.

The New York Post is reporting that the man who claims he lost 200 pounds eating foot-long sandwiches is now gaining weight in prison due to stress eating.

Fellow inmates have nicknamed Fogel “Chomo,” for ‘child molester,’ and another inmate recently slapped Fogel, calling him a “dirty child rapist,” according to the New York Post.

Fogel’s legal team is appealing his sentence.
