OKLAHOMA CITY – A family of four is safe this morning after their northeast Oklahoma City home caught fire early Monday.
Around 2 a.m., firefighters were called to a home near N.E. 29th and Kelley.
Fortunately, the smoke detector inside the home woke the family up and they were able to escape the fire unharmed.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze before it caused any major damage.
Fire officials believe the fire started in a wall inside a closet.
Investigators are trying to figure out if the fire was electrical or not.
