PADUCAH, KY -- A Paducah, Kentucky family wants to bring their adopted children home from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Jeremy Goodman and his wife Erin legally adopted Lincoln and Piper, but must wait for the paperwork to go through to return home.

But Lincoln contracted malaria so Erin headed over early.

She's been in Cogno for eight weeks and the U.S. Embassy has not issued their visas.

Now the Congolese Government says it won't issue exit papers for a year.

Congressman Ed Whitfield's office admits they can not do much to speed up the embassy - but they can push the government to issue the papers since all three of them are already there.
