ATLANTA, GA. – A Georgia family says they were turned away from a restaurant because of a 4-year-old’s Ninja Turtles shirt.

The family says they were turned away because the boy’s shirt was in violation of the restaurant’s “gentleman’s dress code.”

The hostess and the manager both told the family they would have to leave.

The family says they saw the sign at the entrance that says no sleeveless shirts, but they did not think it applied to the little boy.

When upper management found out what happened, they apologized to the family.

They told the family the manager on duty was in training and did not fully understand the policy, adding that it does not apply to children.
