I-35 near Norman reopened after fatal wreck

NORMAN, Okla. – At least one person was killed in a serious accident on I-35 near Norman early Thursday morning.

Officials say multiple vehicles were involved in the crash in the northbound lanes of I-35 near Indian Hills Road.

Troopers told KFOR that a semi truck hit a car from behind.

Officials say the driver of the car died at the scene. The truck driver was not injured.

The northbound lanes in the area were closed for more than five hours while crews cleared the scene.
