FBI investigating IBC bank robbery

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities with the FBI are looking for a black female who allegedly robbed an IBC bank Wednesday afternoon.

Around 12:20 p.m., an unknown female entered the IBC bank in the 5700 block on N. May Avenue, in OKC.

The subject approached the teller counter where she threatened a teller and demanded money.

The teller complied and the subject left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Authorities were able to get surveillance footage from the bank at the time of the robbery.

The female is described as being in her early 20’s, standing 5’3”, approximately 140 lbs.

She was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt with the words Oklahoma City written across the front in white letters, a dark and light-colored baseball cap, dark rimmed prescription style glasses, gray pants, and dark shoes.

The robbery is currently being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department.

The Oklahoma Banker’s Association is offering a reward up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
