There is a question of safety concerning the donated blood supply in the United States.

The Center for Disease Control just confirmed the first case of a person with no Zika symptoms unknowingly transmitting the virus to a sexual partner.

The FDA is now calling for all donated blood in the US to be tested for the illness.

These measures have already been implemented in Florida and Puerto Rice, where Zika is a rapidly mounting problem.
