OKLAHOMA CITY – A popular event that draws thousands of visitors to downtown Oklahoma City has officially opened their gates.

The Festival of the Arts has been Oklahoma City’s rite of spring.

It is a community celebration of the visual arts, performing arts, and culinary arts.

Organizers say 144 artists from all over the country are setting up booths and tents to showcase one-of-a-kind pieces of art.

Tents line the streets, filled with everything from artwork to food.

31 vendors will bring their specialties to the International Food Row and throughout the grounds.

Each food vendor is partnered with a local arts organization, so everything you buy helps support the arts in Oklahoma.
