HARRAH, Okla. – Firefighters were called to a property near Harrah to battle a blaze on Monday afternoon

When firefighters arrived, a fifth-wheel trailer was engulfed in flames.

The trailer was a total loss, but crews worked to prevent the blaze from spreading to the grass or other nearby buildings.

No word on what caused the trailer to spark.

The Oklahoma Forestry Service is reminding Oklahomans that the fire danger will increase from high to extreme over the next few days. In fact, experts say Wednesday looks like the most critical day.

“High winds, low relative humidity, clear skies and warm temperatures are working together to create dangerous fire conditions,” said State Forester, George Geissler.  “We want people to be aware of the conditions and postpone any outdoor burning until conditions improve.”

Any fires that spark will burn swiftly, so use extreme caution when dealing with a flame.
