Fire crews contain Luther grass fire, urge extreme caution during high fire danger

LUTHER, Okla. – Crews have contained a grass fire that started as a trash burn just south of Luther.

Officials said the fire sparked near N.E. 150th St. and Harrah Rd.

Deputies are asking drivers to avoid the area.

So far, no structures have been burned.

No injuries have been reported.

Authorities are urging residents and drivers to use extreme caution during high fire danger.

Parts of the state are under a Red Flag Warning for the dry conditions and strong winds.
