Firefighters extinguish house fire in N.W. Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – Firefighters were able to extinguish a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City Tuesday afternoon.

Initial reports a home in the 900 block of N.W. 95th caught fire around 2:55 p.m.

Witnesses say flames could be seen shooting from the home.

Fortunately, crews were able to extinguish the fire within 10 minutes.

No word on what caused the fire at this time.

Fire officials believe the home is abandoned.
