OKLAHOMA CITY – A gas leak near a busy intersection in northwest Oklahoma City may cause some drivers to change their lunch plans.

Emergency crews were called to a gas leak near Memorial Rd. and May Ave. on Thursday morning.

Shortly before 12 p.m., fire crews were forced to shut down traffic in the area causing backups.

Fire officials say a high-pressure gas line was struck by construction workers.
