Update: 2:25 p.m. - Crews have extinguished the fire at the Warrington Apartments in northwest Oklahoma City.

There is no word on the extent of the damage at this time.

 

OKLAHOMA CITY - Firefighters are battling a blaze at an Oklahoma City apartment complex.

Shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Friday, fire crews were called to the Warrington Apartments, located near N.W. 122nd St. and MacArthur Blvd.

When firefighters arrived, they found thick black smoke and flames shooting from the roof of one of the buildings.

Crews evacuated nearby buildings.

Around 1:25 p.m., firefighters determined the fire was three-alarm.
