OKLAHOMA CITY — There was a large commercial fire in Oklahoma City, according to the Oklahoma City Fire Department.

Benny Fulkerson, with OKC Fire, said the flames were burning a large warehouse near NW 3rd and McKinnley.

A primary search proved that no one was in the warehouse when firefighters arrived.

Officials said part of the warehouse collapsed, and a power line was down on the northwest corner of the building.

OGE was reportedly notified about the power lines.

Fulkerson said the main body of the fire is out, and there was an all clear on a secondary search.

But crews are expected to be on the scene for an extended period of time because the roof collapsed onto materials that are reportedly still smoldering.

“We have to move a great deal of debris and make sure the fire is completely out,” Fulkerson said.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this point.

No injuries have been reported.
