‘These people are the face of evil,’ Rep. Steve Russell talks about how U.S. should handle ISIS

OKLAHOMA CITY – Congressman Steve Russell joined Kevin Ogle, Mike Turpin and Kirk Humphreys on Flashpoint to discuss the major issues America is facing.

Representative Steve Russell, an Oklahoma City Republican, is a former Colonel in the U.S. Army.  He spoke with the panel about what a congressman does every week.

He also talked about the backlash he received after voting for House Speaker John Boehner.

Being a former Colonel in the U.S. Army, Russell has an informative view on the way the United States should handle ISIS.

"They must be defeated," he said.  "These people are the face of evil."

Earlier this month, President Obama asked Congress to authorize limited use of military force to destroy ISIS.

Rep. Russell doesn't believe what the president is asking for is enough.
