ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KTVI) – Violent turf wars are something you may expect from gangs or drug cartels.
However, police in Missouri say a new turf war has divided one neighborhood in town.
It has nothing to do with drugs; instead, it is centered around ice cream.
Authorities say the ice cream truck turf war turned criminal on Easter.
Police say one ice cream truck operator was cut off and allegedly threatened by another driver.
Witnesses say the driver then started damaging the man’s truck, music siren and ice cream.
The victim says he has had the same route for seven years and the other driver wanted to take over his route.
However, both drivers work for the same company.
